The Rolls-Royce Phantom & Your Business

When I was visiting La Jolla, CA, I enjoyed browsing through a car store with the fanciest Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and I also admired a Rolls-Royce Phantom. My husband suggested that I look it up online and do some research on it, because it was just like what I spoke about in business.

I have finally had a moment to look the prestigious car and he was right! I love the character that the Rolls-Royce Phantom stands on and would encourage you to consider treating your business with this kind of excellence too.

The designer, Sir Henry Royce himself, wanted to take something that was already the best and make it even better. He wanted to exhibit a mindset that strives for perfection in everything one does. If something can be done a better way but the better way doesn’t exist – then design it.

To many automobile enthusiasts the result is absolute perfection.

When it comes to business I often tell a story about “The Little Red Stick”, (also the title of my new book coming out spring 2017) a tool used to measure the peppers in Tabasco© sauce so they are only picked if they are perfectly ripe red. I relate that standard, to how we should do each action in our own business.

If we do each action with excellence, measure the level of our product and share the standard with others who are working with us, then we are sure to create an award-winning business like the McIIhenney’s Tabasco – and the coveted Rolls-Royce Phantom.

“Do your best and then make it even better.”

If you need help in your business, let’s work together toward excellent results!
