They flipped a coin!
This young couple finally got work contracts in the same city and they wanted to buy their first home of their own. Viewing the listings was a challenge as one partner was usually away – so she was on her own to try to imagine what her partner would like.
But, as these things often go, the home that invited her in and wrapped it’s arms around her was also on the short list for her partner!
Luckliy, the housing market had slowed down enough to give them time to both see it together – otherwise they would have lost it for sure. But the real test came when it was time to write the offer. Did they want to commit to each other and this home? After writing out all the PROS & CONS, after walking and talking about it, after going round and round, what finally helped them jump in with both feet was a flip of a coin! They tossed a coin to see if it landed on heads, giving them a sign that this would be the right move for them – and it was!
[I did NOT know about the coin flip until after they moved in! This is not a tactic I would recommend, but we had a good laugh about it! Lol You can’t make this stuff up 😊]
